A federal bankruptcy court has approved the $13.5 million sale of Sandy Pines Campground in Kennebunkport, Maine, to Streamside Parks LLC. The transaction follows the Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing of the property’s owner, Atlantic Hospitality, and is expected to close later this year. The 46-acre campground includes 268 campsites and a range of lodging accommodations. While outside the traditional self-storage sector, the deal highlights continued investment activity in RV parks and outdoor hospitality assets, as well as the role of bankruptcy-related transactions and asset repositioning within alternative real estate markets.
