Open Road Resorts (ORR), a leading outdoor hospitality company focused on owning and operating RV parks and campgrounds across the United States, today announced that it has acquired Good Shepherd RV Park & Storage in Gunter, Texas (just north of Frisco, Texas).
Good Shepherd RV Park & Storage is the fifth park in the Open Road Resorts portfolio and the second in Texas. ORR’s other parks are located across Idaho, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Texas. The ORR team seeks to provide superior hospitality experiences by acquiring exceptional parks and investing in key enhancements (e.g., key amenities, and infrastructure) to drive consumer satisfaction.
Chase Becker, Co-Founder of Open Road Resorts stated, “This is a special acquisition for Open Road Resorts as our relationship with the Andrews family dates back to the opening of the park in 2019. Since that time, Good Shepherd has established itself as one of the highest-rated and largest RV park and storage facilities in the DFW metroplex.
