Open Road Resorts (ORR), an outdoor hospitality company focused on owning and operating RV parks and campgrounds across the United States, has announced that it has acquired Bayou Barataria RV Park in Harvey, La. (just outside of New Orleans), according to a press release.
Bayou Barataria is the seventh park in the Open Road Resorts portfolio and the first in Louisiana. ORR’s other parks are located across Idaho, Nebraska, New Mexico, Texas and Wyoming. The ORR team seeks to provide superior hospitality experiences by acquiring exceptional parks and investing in key enhancements (e.g., key amenities, infrastructure) to drive consumer satisfaction.

The park currently has 131 full-hookup RV sites with the potential to exceed 150 sites through development efforts.
