Hospitality Firm Buys Iconic Surf City Campground for $21 Million

Lanier’s Campground in Surf City recently changed hands in a $21 million deal with buyer TRG Resorts, an outdoor hospitality company based in Florida. TRG officials said they plan to modernize and improve the landmark property, now called The Inlet at Lanier Pointe RV Campground. Western Reserve Park RV Resort Sold for $1.65 Million

The Western Reserve Park RV Resort & Campground has sold to a Tennessee outfit for $1.65 million, according to records from the Mahoning County Auditor’s office. Records show that Empire Properties 10 LLC, based in Winchester, Tenn., purchased the 69-acre site from Chris Pater LLC on Oct. 20. The park markets itself as a “family-owned campground offering fun activities for all ages” according to its Facebook page, and provides outdoor recreation such as swimming, camping, fishing and sand volleyball. 194-Acre RV Park Coming to Horry County

Property records show that a developer intends to build an RV park on a land parcel about one mile from the intersection of Hardwick Road and U.S. 501 in Horry County, SC. Timbervest sold 394 acres of land this year to 501 Holdings, LLC. for $2,759,400 and they split the land into two tracts with 194 acres dedicated to an RV park project.
