Ribbon Cutting Marks Launch of Glamping in Sweet Springs, Missouri

The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Garrett County Department of Business Development, held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 17, to celebrate the opening of Sweet Springs Glamping in Oakland. The ceremony was led by Connor Norman, Business Development Specialist and Chair of the Garrett County Diplomats. Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) announced the new Riverside section at the Lake Placid/Whiteface Mountain KOA Holiday. The expansion brings 59 modern RV sites near the Ausable River, strengthening the campground’s position as one of the Northeast’s most beautiful and adventure-friendly camping destinations, KOA said in a release. Council Approves Conditional Use Permit For an RV Park and an Indoor Storage Facility in The Blair City, Nebraska

The Blair City (Neb.) Council has approved conditional use permits that will allow for an RV park and an indoor storage facility on the east side of Highway 30 and the north side of County Road P26 on the south edge of Blair, according to the Pilot-Tribune & Enterprise. Officials Approve Development of 40-Site RV Park Project in Concho Valley, Arizona

The Apache County Board of Supervisors worked through a full agenda at its Aug. 18 meeting, approving tax levies, health service contracts and a new development in Concho Valley. The board approved a conditional use permit allowing Country Club Properties LLC to move forward with plans for a 40-unit RV park in Concho Valley, next to the former golf course. The Planning and Zoning Commission had previously recommended approval with conditions to address traffic access, water usage, and community effects. Source

After more than a decade of planning and three years of dedicated construction, the Colville (Wash.) Elks Lodge #1753 celebrated the official opening of its brand-new, 10-space RV Park on Aug. 19, according to the Statesman Examiner. Developer Opens 73-Site RV Park in Upper Peninsula, Michigan

A U.P. (Mich.) resort held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Little Lake on Tuesday (Aug. 20), according to MSN. Forsyth Forward welcomed Charley’s RV Resort Campground to the community. The resort officially opened earlier in August, and campers are already enjoying the resort. The grounds have cabins and 73 full RV hook-up sites. A New RV Park Under Construction Plans to Open Soon in Columbia, South Carolina

A new RV park is on the way to the Columbia (S.C.) area, and construction is already underway, according to WLTX. The project, Killian Road RV Park, at 234 Killian Road, is privately owned and was approved by Richland County last year. Crews began clearing trees on the site this past spring.
