Jackson County Planning Commission gave a recommendation for a special exception of zoning for an RV Park in Gulf Park Estates Wednesday. Developers of Ocean Springs Islands RV Park were seeking a special exception for the vacant Pine Island Golf Course. The lot is currently zoned for condominiums, a hotel, and an 18-hole golf course. Texas Firm Acquired Gulf Shores RV Park in Gulf Shores, AL

Gulf Breeze Resort, an RV park located on County Road 6 in Gulf Shores, has sold to a real estate development firm from Dallas. RREAF Holdings LLC acquired five RV parks in Alabama, Florida and Texas for $157 million, the company said Wednesday. They did not disclose the amount paid for each location. RV Park and Campground Approved for Union Township, PA

  A recreational vehicle and camping park is coming to Union Township. Township supervisors, on Thursday, approved a conditional use request by Ricki Trinidad, the president of Royalty Camping 1 LLC, for a RV camping park called Royalty Camping. The camping park will be located in a 30-acre area of land just off Old Youngstown Road in the Central Commercial zoning district.
