Kimball Lake and Parker Lake RV Parks in Jackson, AL Included in $2 Million Investment

Gov. Kay Ivey announced that Jackson’s Kimball Lake and Parker Lake RV parks have been included in a $2 million investment the state is making in recreational trails for public use. According to a press released from the governor’s office, $350,000 has been allocated to construct a 1,000-foot-long, 8-foot-wide, multi-use boardwalk at Kimball Lake. New Regulations Approved for RV Parks, Introduces Annual Fee by Monroe County Board, GA

The Monroe County Board of Commissioners has unanimously approved updated regulations for recreational vehicle (RV) parks within the county’s new Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The changes establish several minimum standards that existing and future RV parks must meet. Parks will need to be at least 25 acres, have 10 or more RV sites, provide proper utility hookups, have graveled or paved driveways, and designate RV spaces. Emergency RV Campground Plan Moves Forward in Marin, CA

As the county works to create more housing, officials are moving forward with a plan to establish a temporary campground in Bolinas. An emergency campground for recreational vehicles on a ranch in Marin County received support Tuesday from the county Board of Supervisors, which approved a $622,000 investment to help move residents of unpermitted structures off of another location at the ranch. Gulf Breeze Resort, an RV park located on County Road 6 in Gulf Shores, has sold to a real estate development firm from Dallas.
