The Valley City Council’s vote on development of a controversial RV park along the Platte River has been delayed until August. The council’s vote was set for Tuesday, but it has been rescheduled for Aug. 9 at the request of the developer. Brad Brown, who builds high-end homes in the Omaha metro area, is hoping to turn about 100 acres along the river into an RV park for about 275 campers and recreational vehicles. New Buyer Closes on Purchase of Port Huron Township RV Park

No immediate changes are expected to impact campers at Port Huron Township’s recreational vehicle park this season as the final sale of the property moves forward with a new owner.
