Heyburn Planning Commission Approves Permit for Lucky Lake 208 RV Park
The Heyburn Planning and Zoning Commission gave a nod to a special use permit for Lucky Lake 208 RV Park near Interstate 84, exit 208, after a public hearing on Tuesday. This will bring people into the area and increase revenues for the city through taxes.” The permit, granted to the Harry Clark estate and the 55-acre parcel buyer, Nikki Beck, will allow the company to develop 100 RV sites and up to 35 cabins. Bedford Supervisors OK Lake Development
Two special use permits to develop a proposed RV site and other lakeside amenities in Moneta, VA were approved Monday in split votes by the Bedford County Board of Supervisors. Stewart Garland, of Richmond, with the services of Amy Seipp, of Accupoint Surveying and Design in Lynchburg, applied for permits to develop a campground site on two properties totaling 43 acres in Moneta. City of Sioux City Awarded $104,000 Grant for Campground Near Big Sioux River
The City of Sioux City has been awarded more than $104,000 in grant funding from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to develop a campground on the north side of the Sioux City Railroad Museum, adjacent to the Big Sioux River. Hospitality Firm Buys Iconic Surf City Campground for $21 Million
Lanier’s Campground in Surf City recently changed hands in a $21 million deal with buyer TRG Resorts, an outdoor hospitality company based in Florida. TRG officials said they plan to modernize and improve the landmark property, now called The Inlet at Lanier Pointe RV Campground. RV Boom TRG Resorts owns nine properties, four of them within 30 minutes of The Inlet at Lanier Pointe.
