New Overnight RV Park Opens in Tifton, GA

A fully automated RV park has opened in Tifton. The park is aimed at helping travelers to enjoy several amenities as they travel to and from the city. The park is located just off Interstate 75 on Exit 62. It sits behind the Hilton Garden Inn in Springhill suites in Tifton. A five-space recreational vehicle park has opened at 38 A Road 5474 near Farmington. The Little Park, owned by Autumn von Flotow, offers internet, 30 amp electrical, water and waste hookups. Flotow stated in a news release that TLP nests on a cul-de-sac with quiet neighbors and is fenced and gated. The location, halfway between Farmington and Bloomfield, offers easy access to the San Juan River and to hiking and biking trails. Great Sacandaga campground approved

The Adirondack Park Agency unanimously approved plans for an RV campground on Great Sacandaga Lake in the town of Mayfield, though it brought up jurisdictional questions. Commissioners spent nearly an hour deliberating plans for an expanded state boat launch seven miles up the lake from the Mayfield campground. The Adirondack Blue Line, however, cuts off at the lake’s southern tip, giving the APA no say over the campground’s proposed dock and boat slips. Florida Investment Group Buys RV Park Near NC Zoo

A Florida-based private equity firm that specializes in real estate investments has acquired a Triad campground that has been popular with RV campers across the state and beyond for more than three decades. TRG Resorts, an affiliate of The Requity Group of Tampa, Florida, closed on Dec. 13 on the 147-site Zooland Family Campground at 3671 Pisgah Covered Bridge Road near Asheboro. Neighbors of 232 Klug Hill Road say they are not opposed to an RV park being built on the site. A plan to develop an RV park on Bend’s forested southern fringe moved forward last week when the developer had most of a 13-acre lot cleared of ponderosa pines and juniper trees. More than 60 peopled filled the Animas Valley Grange this week for a neighborhood meeting held by the La Plata County Planning Department to learn details of a proposed luxury RV park north of Durango.
