After opening Oceans RV Resort in January, manager Joel Beck has enjoyed watching campers pull in to enjoy an outdoor hospitality option in the Topsail region.
“I think it’s great because it’s close to local attractions, a lot of outdoor recreation and the museums that Topsail Island has to offer,” he said. “There’s a lot of history out here and just beautiful scenery in the area.”
Beck has been in the RV business for ten years and was hired by Evolve Companies for the role. One of the things he enjoys most is meeting new people and hearing their stories and adventures. He wants to make sure their experience in the Topsail area is memorable. Being close to Surf City is another plus towards that goal.
“So, you can literally drive out of our park, take a left and four miles you’ll be in the water,” he said about being near the beach.
Located at 730 E. Ocean Road in Holly Ridge, Oceans RV Resort is preparing to open the second phase next month, which will bring more than 200 spaces to the grounds. The resort, which promotes “luxury RV living,” provides full hookups for sewer, water and electricity needs. RV Park models are also available to rent.
They’re actually breaking ground, so they’re making progress right now.”
Some of the amenities of the resort at 730 E. Ocean Road in Holly Ridge include swimming pools, on-site laundry machines, fire pit, fitness center and Wi-Fi access.
Additional plans for the luxury resort include a picnic and grill area, a dog park, convenience store and golfcart rentals. For visitors who like to stay active, Joel is also excited about the pickleball courts and a three-hole putting green coming soon.
“They’re actually breaking ground, so they’re making progress right now,” Beck said about the putting green, which will take another 4-to-6 weeks to complete.
In the meantime, he will stay busy promoting Oceans RV Resort and special offers on Facebook and Instagram.
