A new campground next to the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion is nearing completion, with county officials saying it should open in a few weeks.
On Thursday, Marion County officials released updated photos of the new recreational vehicle campground on social media. According to the post, the new project is only “a few weeks away from being fully complete.”
“We cannot wait to see this project’s final product and know you are all just as eager,” reads the post from the county.
Construction crews have been working at the site for several months, sharing progress along the way.
According to officials, the new campground site will be comprised of 66 sites. Each site will be fully outfitted with water, sewer, power, and broadband.
