Full Hookup Campsites Now Available at Tickfaw State Park in Springfield, LA

The Louisiana Office of State Parks recently completed a campsite improvement project at Tickfaw State Park adding full hookups to the 30-site campground.

The upgraded campsites include water, electricity and sewer utilities.

We’re excited to offer upgraded campground amenities to our guests,” Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser said. “The full hookup campsites will make for a more convenient, enjoyable stay and allow time for relaxing and experiencing the natural beauty of Louisiana.”

Other full hookup campground upgrade projects include Fontainebleau State Park and Jimmie Davis State Park. Currently under construction, the Fontainebleau campground upgrade is estimated to be completed this fall; while Jimmie Davis’ upgrade is expected to begin before the end of the year.

Located in Livingston Parish, Tickfaw State Park offers visitors a variety of activities. Stop by Tickfaw’s Nature Center to learn about the animals, history and culture of the area. Enjoy splashing around the water playground. Bring a canoe or kayak and explore the Tickfaw River. Camping and lodging options at Tickfaw include tent and RV sites, deluxe cabins, and a group camp that accommodates up to 52 guests.
