On Friday, July 25, however, the campground staff and owners, Steve and Karen Ureel, held a ribbon-cutting event to announce the opening of Dancing Fire Glamping & RV Resort, a more luxurious RV park.
The ribbon cutting marked the end of 18 months of construction that brought new amenities to the park, including a new clubhouse with a library, a pickleball court, a playground, a dog park, a swimming pool, new cabins and a yoga studio, among others. A new pavilion provides guests with an outdoor space to relax that the campground intends to rent out for events such as concerts and baby showers.
“For Karen and I, for the team, it just has to be an adventurous kind of place,” Steve Ureel said at the ceremony.
The campground now has 140 RV sites, all of which have access to water, electricity and free Wi-Fi. Fifteen of those RV sites are 70 feet in length, so the park can accommodate larger RVs.
