Texas Developer Will Include 2,300-Plus RV Sites in Taylor County, Texas

An RV park with more than 2,300 lots is under development in Taylor County (Texas), according to KTAB. During a meeting on Tuesday (Sept. 23), Taylor County commissioners approved a final infrastructure development plan for the Elmdale RV Park, which will be located off Elmdale Road N and Mesquite Lane. The park will house 2,313 RV spots, encompassing 148 acres. In addition to the RV spots, the park will feature a playground, dog park, sand volleyball area, and an office/clubhouse. Source

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) announced the new Riverside section at the Lake Placid/Whiteface Mountain KOA Holiday. Council Approves Conditional Use Permit For an RV Park and an Indoor Storage Facility in The Blair City, Nebraska

The Blair City (Neb.) Council has approved conditional use permits that will allow for an RV park and an indoor storage facility on the east side of Highway 30 and the north side of County Road P26 on the south edge of Blair, according to the Pilot-Tribune & Enterprise. Officials Approve Development of 40-Site RV Park Project in Concho Valley, Arizona

The Apache County Board of Supervisors worked through a full agenda at its Aug. 18 meeting, approving tax levies, health service contracts and a new development in Concho Valley. The board approved a conditional use permit allowing Country Club Properties LLC to move forward with plans for a 40-unit RV park in Concho Valley, next to the former golf course. The Planning and Zoning Commission had previously recommended approval with conditions to address traffic access, water usage, and community effects. Source

After more than a decade of planning and three years of dedicated construction, the Colville (Wash.) Elks Lodge #1753 celebrated the official opening of its brand-new, 10-space RV Park on Aug. 19, according to the Statesman Examiner. Eagle Island State Park’s New Campground Set to Open in Eagle, Idaho

Idaho’s Eagle Island State Park’s major upgrades are nearly complete, with a brand-new 50-site RV campground set to open Thursday (Aug. 28), according to KIVI. The campground represents the largest upgrade in the park’s history, featuring full water and sewer hookups at each site.
