  Knob Noster State Park will host a ribbon cutting for its newly renovated campground. The ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 19. The campground had been closed for renovations but is now ready to go for the 2024 camping season. The project involved overhauling the campground’s front half, which included upgrading electrical service to 50-amp connections at sites 1-25 and eight sites were upgraded to include full hook-ups. Located next to the abandoned car wash and Star Mini Mart at 5575 Fannett Road., RV park owner Akash Ray said they are expecting to finish the project in August. Ray said that once finished, there will be 58 slots, a common area, a small playground and an office building with a gathering area and a small bar.
