Morton Township Considering RV Park Development in Canadian Lakes Area, MI

Morton Township officials are considering the development of a 45-acre recreational vehicle park in Canadian Lakes. Freshwater Hospitality Consulting, LLC presented a proposal to the township board during its meeting on Oct. 11. According to the proposal, the recreational vehicle park, at 8858 105th Ave., Stanwood, will provide rental spaces for recreational vehicles, park model homes or tent set-ups. Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming May Change Campground Fees

Fees on a number of Shoshone National Forest campgrounds will increase rise from $5 to $10 per single slot, under a proposal before the public. Also, the forest will start charging to stay at some currently free campgrounds. Extra charges may be levied for double spaces and/or hookups. The Sunlight Ranger Cabin will see the highest hike, to $225 per night from the present $150 per night. Texas-Based Company Developing RV Park in Foley, AL

A new RV park is coming to Foley, after the Baldwin County Planning and Zoning Commission approved it earlier this month. Emerald Coast Resort, a 125-lot RV park along County Road 65 just outside of Foley, will feature several amenities, including a pool, a bathhouse and an open-air pavilion, according to Baldwin County records. RV Resort Approved for Navarre Beach, FL

A local developer has been approved to bring an RV Resort with 171 spaces to Navarre Beach. The 23-acre property is about half a mile west of the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier on the Santa Rosa Sound side.
