After almost a year of renovation, the Green Bay Campground is set to reopen. Sandpoint Ranger District officials said sites at the popular campground will open for reservations starting at 7 a.m. Friday, July 25. After decades of decay and disrepair, the Tuolumne Meadows Campground is refurbished. Park rangers say it has seen very little maintenance in the last 60 years, and they couldn’t afford the necessary repairs. “Some of the campsites were on an angle, and there were clay pipes.
