The camp, which was previously only for scouting groups, is now open to everyone. The Belton Chamber of Commerce and Camp Tahuaya celebrated the next chapter of the campground this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. A new travel trailer park and campground will be developed at the site of the former Ocean Edge Golf Club in Frisco, according to a site plan shared with the Dare County Planning Board at their June meeting.
