The application also said that, should the permit be approved, Equinox Partners would surrender a separate special permit for a self storage facility on the property.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Duval declined to comment when reached by phone on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The ZBA will take up the application at its Tuesday meeting, which is set to take place at the Town Offices at 5 p.m. The campground proposal is set to be taken up at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>A change.org online petition against the campground idea, started by nearby resident Kyle Rodd, has already generated more than 115 signatures as of Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo other local campground is located on as busy a roadway or in such close proximity to neighbors: this construction would take place on private property, but its impacts would ripple outwards well beyond the property line,\u201d reads part of the petition.<\/p>\n<p>Rodd and his wife, Alexandra Pinschmidt, have also generated a paper petition against the campground, with Pinschmidt saying that it\u2019s her understanding that all her neighbors on Solar Circle have either signed the petition or expressed verbal opposition to the project.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe love camping,\u201d said Pinschmidt, while also asserting that the area is not an \u201cappropriate place for a camp site.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s very close to residential property,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Rodd estimates the proposed tent camping area would be about 600 feet from their front door, and the couple noted that they hear loud music coming from Beaver Brook already, as well as fireworks from the direction of the property.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur hope is that the Zoning Board rejects the proposal,\u201d Rodd said.<\/p>\n<p>However, he also said he hopes that the meeting will stay kind and communicative.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gazettenet.com\/Beaver-Brook-Golf-Corse-looking-to-put-camp-ground-on-property-47710540\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The owners of the Beaver Brook Golf Course are seeking permission to put a campground of up to 50 sites on the property, a move that is generating opposition from some town residents.
